Pertino Cloud Release - Summer Edition: Put on Your Shades, The Future of Cloud Networking is Bright
We’re excited to announce Pertino Cloud Release - Summer Edition. This release includes several new features and enhancements to our Cloud Network Engine platform based on our strategic roadmap, customer requests and user feedback. We hope you’re as excited as we are.
The first new feature being introduced is Usage Monitor—a new app for our AppScape™ network app store that makes use of our new big data backend system. Usage Monitor (below) plugs into our web-based cloud management console and allows network owners to track usage of their Pertino cloud networks via bytes transferred. You can visualize total bytes transferred on a daily or weekly basis and see, at a glance, your top users and devices. Not just another pretty face, Usage Monitor’s interactive interface lets you drill down within users, devices and timeframes to see what’s going on behind the scenes to more easily diagnose network issues.
For our customers with larger networks, you will now have the option to select between grid and list views of devices on your Pertino cloud network. This makes searching or scrolling through hundreds of devices a breeze. Once you find the device you’re looking for, you can view its details, migrate it to another network, make it a resource or deactivate it with just a click. You can even download your device list to Excel.
If you like being able to get city-level views of your Pertino-connected devices using our free GeoView app, you’re going to love GeoView Pro. Free with Business plans and above, GeoView Pro uses advanced location technology to provide highly accurate, street-level tracking of your online devices, wherever they roam, from just about anywhere in the world.
We’ve also added several new technologies to improve the performance of your Pertino cloud networks. First, we use the same advanced location technology that powers GeoView Pro to improve the selection of the closest Pertino Cloud Network Engine datacenter each time you create a network. And, we’ve enhanced performance for multimedia traffic such as VoIP and streaming video by implementing auto-selecting UDP transport mode.
Lastly, we gave the Pertino cloud management console a little facelift with simplified navigation to make the job of network owners even easier.
Put on your shades, the future of cloud networking is looking bright with the Pertino Cloud Release - Summer Edition. If you would like to learn more, please free to leave a comment or give us a call.
